The fine folks here at MSEP have just added a new voice chat server for all members. This service requires that you download the very popular Ventrilo voice client and add the MSEP voice server.

Simply download the free Ventrilo client (link below), add a new server and under the "Hostname or IP" field add milsimempire.com

We have also added a "Gaming Lounge" room where we can have a team chat during games like Bad Company 2.

You can view who is on the chat server by checking out the ventrilo window on the portal, toward the bottom of the page. The ventrilo server is being run off of our dedicate server and so far sound and voice quality is pretty good. Use it at your leisure, i just ask that you follow the general rules of the forum, when it comes to language and so forth on open channels.

I like the idea, but it's gonna be a while before I can use it, computers are right next to the kids room, so i'm usually sound off or headphones when i'm playing, no talking for me
