As the title says I'm looking at fitting the new Tippmann A5 egrip with fire selector switch onto my MILSIG. Muttly's helping me having had experience with previously modding the old style egrip to work on the MILSIG.

But we thought we'd just post to see what else others might know about making this work?

One issue is that the selector switch will not stay in as this needs to be held in place by a clip on the MILSIGS and that isn't an option with the selector switch. :?

I'll post pic's when I get the chance.

Other then the selector switch issue, if you put the grip frame on the MILSIG and cock the marker does the sear catch? And if the sear does catch, when you pull the trigger does the solenoid just click, or will it release the sear?

I still haven't had time to compare the pic you gave me to the X7 trigger assembly...been a busy day. But they sure look identical. Considering both the X7 and new A5 e-grips use the hall effect trigger there is a really good chance that they are the same.

EDIT: Did some research and found that both X7 and A5 HE triggers are the same. The selector switch should stay in place as long as you have it set on a mode, but it will come out in the safe position.

Safety mode disengages the electronics from the mechanism to prevent accidental discharge though not exactly the safest. Always be sure to put your barrel bag on.

It should work mate.

Cheers fella :D I'd always intended to make a VLTOR out of the MILSIG that's why I only got the CQB and not the elite. Guess you think the stock rather snazzy ;)

I asked the question b/c I thought I saw anotsu post on another board that his results were not 100% during game play. If anyone else has seen that other post maybe they could ask anotsu to post here also. I cannot find it again. Anyway I hope it works b/c I love the HK picto look of the E-grip.
