Glad to hear the good news Ironman!

Wanted to keep everyone up to speed with Amanda's progress.
She had a fantastic summer and has been able to start back to school, she has been out since Nov. Her recovery period from her chemo treatments have been getting shorter each time. During the summer she set her sights on trying out for her schools volleyball team, She made it this week! We are very excited to see her continued progress and recovery.
Only another 14 months of chemo to go.

We have only recently learned that another families daughter that was in the hospital with Amanda has not been as fortunate as us and the end is near. It has been a shocking reality check for our family and Amandas situation.
I ask for all who would to keep this family that you have never met in a prayer that things can go as peacefull as possible for there daughter Katy.
I know the man upstairs knows where you are sending it too.

Good to hear about Amanda. Tell her we said congatulations on making the volleyball team for us! 14 more months of chemo... My goodness that is a long time.

Sounds like that remarkable little girl is one tough nut to crack and the power of prayer is defenitely working.

It may have gotten John Wayne but it's not getting Amanda.
